Go to mouse properties, change to double click speed to fast..
If that doesnt work, its time to dump the mouse and get yourself a proper gaming mouse like the logitech ones..
EDIT: you could try opening the mouse and cleaning the insides if you can handle electronics
probably the button is done with, my old logitech has this similar issue.
try cleaning the button inside mouse.... u may also try upping the button tip a little, by sticking something to it, that lowering the touch gap with mouse body button, if everything fails.
This is probably a long shot but it might work, if you can get your hands on a small bottle of 97% Alcohol, open it up and use a dropper and pour it on the faulty button and try and get some inside the gap between the button. It worked with my Logitech mouse. (Not a gaming mouse) Basically the alcohol evaporates at room temp and takes away the dirt with it.
Open up the mouse and clean the button. If that doesn't work, make a wow to never buy fancy looking cheap stuff again and get something from Logitech G series.
