On KillingSpree!!!
This is my config
And athlon II x4 640
Gigabytes 880gma ud2h motherboard
Gskill 4 gb ram
1tb seagate hdd
Corsair cx 400 psu

This config has been running well for past 4+ years, unfortunately few days ago the motherboard gave up.
I want new motherboard for the same config with approx budget of 5k. What i want from u guys is the replacement, with onboard graphics atleast as good as my dead mb,if not better. I dont know whether onboard graphics have improved in the past few years on budget configs. so guys please help me with the suggestions. I can purchase from lamington road, mumbai or online if the price is decent.
Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion...
I like everything about the mb u suggested, but I have 1doubt.
This mb has onboard radeon hd 3000, whereas my dead mb had hd 4250, isn't that downgrading? I dont have much knowledge about mb so please guide

Ok, if decent onboard graphics is not possible, is it possible to accomodate mb and graphic card in about 8k. Maybe a cheaper mb and decent entry lvl card.

The reason i m stressing on graphics is because i could play dota 2 at lowest setting on my old mb. If i sacrifice further on graphics then it will not run at all

Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2PT Motherboard - Gigabyte : Flipkart.com

Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon R7 240 with Boost 1 GB DDR5 Graphics Card - Sapphire : Flipkart.com

Should be good enough for Dota 2 and some more. :)

Else you can opt for R5 230 or GT 630 based cards at lesser price.

Another option is to go the APU route, a low end quad core (A8 5500) or dual core (A6 5300/6300) along with A58/55 based mobo, should be within 6-8k, provided they are available.

Thank you skud for the help.
I like ur solution.
1 last doubt, there is a guy selling hd 7770, in bazaar section (unfortunately I'm unable to post link from mobile). If I m able to grab that deal, is it worth it? More importantly can my 400w psu handle it?

And if in rare case I m able to convince my dad for r7 250x can 400w psu handle that? sorry for so many questions

Which PSU? 7770 is twice as powerful as 240, but 400W is minimum recommended PSU for it.
