Any suggestions on what Assassin's Creed is gonna ask for?????

Saw it on XBOX 360 couple of days back........ felt that it was another Crysis in the making.....

Yes, 8600 GT will definitely offer decent performance on games like COD4 with all eye-candy ON....
if u OC it a little then u can play Crysis @ 1024*1028 with ALL SETTINGS TO HIGH except Antialiasing turned off

no way!
8600GT cannot handle everything at HIGH in Crysis. Youll get under 10FPS in many places.

So what do u think Assassin's Creed will be more demanding or less demanding than crysis????

^^Maybe as much as Crysis or less. But definitely not more than Crysis.

Then for limited budget a 8600Gt should do the job????? And definitely 2Gb of ram......????
Whats the present market rates of 8600GT n 8500GT ???????
and does it matter from which maker i buy the card???? will it be different if i buy a card from XFX or Sparkle????? like wil the clock speed n nething else vary?????

XFX 8600GT is cheaper @ 5.5k coz Rashi only have the UDF7 model of XFX8600GT which has been stopped by XFX. XFX is currently producing ony UDD3 model, which Rashi dun have.
UDF7 runs a lil hotter in temps that UDD3 nd other brands 8600GT[some 5c greater]. SO XFX 8600GT is available for cheap price. The are perfectly alrite nd perform same as other's but might be bit low on oc capability compared to toppers like UDD3, Asus EN8600GT[7k] etc
Sparkle too is a gud brand, nd u can go for it if its available for gud price[5.5k~6k]
And i wud have gone for UDF7 if i were u coz in future, if overheating limits ocing, then i can give it for warranty nd we'll get the latest model of 8600Gt at that time[maybe UDD7 or even latest].
And UDF7 is enuf for gud ocing. Just it can't be put under extreme ocing like volt modding, or bios flashing with FATAL1TY etc.

I have a 450w smps......will it be sufficient????

Getting myself 2GB of ram now. Will get a gpu(8600GT or nething better in my budget) as soon as i get my hands on Assassin's creed......thanks guys

if u buy 8400gs card in XFX then u got 4.5 for gaming rating and 5.2 for aero rating. if u buy other brand like sprakle or asus etc. u got below 3.5.

its not supposed to happen, coz the GPu is the one that matters. And Asus is better than XFX, but costly.
