My PC suddenly restarted while i was watching a movie ... but the monitor can no longer display anything except for the No Signal .. and the CPU power is ON and fans are all working ..the problem is somehow similar when the RAM is loose or not working.. but i have checked and replace the RAM from other PC but to no avail.. i have also change the compound of the processor and even install a displayed card from other pc.. but i still can't get it to work.. Can anybody help me with this ... can there be a problem with the motherboard ? please help...

Most probably your mobos onboard IGP has gone bad and after installing the gfx card make sure you clear/reset the CMOS setting.

Also make sure you test your ram module on a friend's pc using memtset app or borrow a working ram module from friend's pc and installed it on a empty and unused slot of the mobo and see what happens and if possible check the PSu as well.

This kind of problem came to me when i cleaned a friend's PC, I forgot to connect the CPU cable :p..

I would reccomend tighting all the cables and cards.

I guess your cabinet has some dust too, clean it well by removing the motherboard using air cans or vaccum cleaners, also clean all the ports using a brush and the components covered in a metal jacqet with cloth and motherboard and cards with air, do touch a metal before touching any component and keep a barefoot on the floor.

I hope this helps :)

Most probably it's a motherboard fault.
You have tried the following already-

1. Checked by replacing RAM - No display
2. Checked by adding a new gfx card - No Display

In the second step, did you plug the display (VGA) cable in your Graphics cards slot or in your motherboard IGP? If you plugged it in IGP, retry by plugging it in the card. If you did plugged it right at that time, and still didn't get the display, its the motherboard which is the culprit here.

^ he already tried that I think..

Bro, if it has been a while like a month or so, you need to clean up again.

@OP.
Reset CMOS.
Check All Cable Connections.
Clean The Dust.
Check for any Beeping Sound from Mobo.
If nothing Works your mobo is in need of Help then.

thnx for the replies ... guys ... There are no beeping sounds from the mobo .... i think its the problem would be with the Mobo .... Can anybody explain why there aren't any beeping sound coming from the motherboard?

Beeping sound comes from system speaker, not from motherboard. Make sure that the speaker connector is plugged into the sys_spk socket on motherboard, only then it would be making beeps. If it is already plugged in, and you used to hear beeps when it was running ok, then no second thought, the motherboard is gone. Send it to service centre if it in warranty.

If no beeps are heard then the problem may also be of a faulty PSU . All fans may seem to work but power distribution from the psu is faulty . If you have a spare PSU then do check with it .

@ OP - did you do the things I've told on the previous post - like using an empty ram slot, clear CMOS setting after installing a gfx card, check with another PSU - if you have done all these and still your monitor is not showing anything then most probably the mobo's bios got corrupted somwhow - send the mobo for RMA.

@topgear - I have done everything ..... noty once but thrice ... it must have been the mobo and also the speaker is connected and another speaker is used from another PC to make sure .... Thanks y'all ... I'll just replace the Motherboard ... No more Warranty ... :)

Try, this for once and the last, disconnect the CPU Power cable, found near the CPU, it has 4 Points.

Disconnect clean and reconnect it.. I have done a practocal, the computer does start, but no display.. :)
