MTNL and BSNL on the other hand give 500MB for Rs. 250 alongwith 30 minutes of video calling.

plan looks funny. with crappy Airtel GPRS (in my area the speed is very low) i download in excess of 200Mb in a single day but all i pay is 98 bucks every 15days. not for me.

^^The spectrum license had cost Airtel about Rs. 12,000 Crores. How do you think they'll recover the amount ? (While it might be a good idea to keep the prices low & encourage mass adoption)

I'm not looking forward to the big players. The small players (Uninor, Aircel & S-tel) might have some exciting plans.
