So, the phone just updating and now the sim 1 is hd thing is stuck there and cannot be removed/swiped away

You can tap & hold a notification, click on "i" like symbol at right & block all notifications from that service

Seriously you are facing several petty issues, just reset the phone & see.

Anyhow, I'm trying to buy this phone for my cousin as the issues you face aren't anything major, most people gave good reviews for this phone. If I don't get it due to flash sales, I will just buy RN5 64GB.

Found similar bugs reported by other users at XDA and AP. In the name of updates, they are providing these bugs at the same time also.
