as vishalgmistry has mention ts true that you will not find 80gb in a 80gb HDD, coz computer uses 1024 for conversion of sizes
for example according to computer
1TB=1024GB
1GB=1024MB
and so on...

but during manufacturing process, the conversion calculation is done using 1000 as multiplier
so accouding to them
1TB=1000GB
1GB=1000MB
and so on...

So in your case, you have got 80Gb HDD. 80x1000x1000x1000 bytes=80000000000 bytes (manufacturing method) but in reality, you have (80000000000/(1024*1024*1024))=80000000000/1073741824=74.50580 gb

hope my calculations are correct
