Microsoft Visual C++ 2005

I am using microsoft VC++ 2005 Express Edition and unable to write C programming codes as well as compile them and view their output.

Please can any one help in starting from opening a file and till compilation.
I could not understand where to write file or project.

One honest sugession shyamno , VC++.NET 2005 Express Edition is a software to Write .NET applications . Im not saying that C codes cant be compiled in VC++ but whats the use im saying . If you are learning C programming then you use C Compiler Insted of VC++ . It will be much more easied for you to Compile and Run it .

i think you should go for VS 2003. It rocks. But VS .net 2005 won't hurt too. BTW, can you please tell exactly what is your problem... is it giving errors while compiling?
