Max Payne 3 resume after fresh windows

I recently had to clean install windows due to some problem ...

I have copied "Rockstar games" folder from my Documents and the one from programming files from C: ....

My install directory is on another drive -- that is safe

When i installed Social club and when tried to start max payne - it struck in that wordings "blah...blah..."

Not even getting into menu ....

What should i do .. please help me ASAP
(I have copied back the rockstar games folder to Documents and C)

try one trick. first start a game and play the first mission. save game created. now replace it with the old save. not sure if it'll work but try once.
