Right off the assembly line
I am using XP Pro and dialup net. I wish to use Tata Indicom connection occasionally. I have one COM port on my computer to which my 33.6 modem is connected. I have one COM to USB cable to which I tried connecting Tata Indicom Walky (LG345). The COM to USB cable is installed as COM3. I tried manual connection to this setup as Tata Installer makes earlier connection unusable and doesn't work on COM3. I entered the phone number as #777 as I found from the connection created by Tata Installer. In the first instance it worked correctly for about 2-3 hours. But later, it started giving Error 678 : The remote computer did not respond.
Any solution ?
