2. Which is the software used in both the pics.

3. i wanted to download and use beryl, but i found so many beryl files which file should i download to use all the beryl effects and themes.

• Just use Yum to d/l Beryl... All the necessary files will be d/l-ed automatically...

• I think the software the first image is just a KDE panel.
  The second image is a screenshot of Fluxbox Desktop..

Dunno abt RAINLENDAR....

no its not a kde panel. its a separate software.

Yum is the package manager for rpm-based distros...viz, Mandriva, RHEL, Fedora, Open Suse.

How did you then install xmms ?

I don't know about Rainlendar alternative but a highly simple similar kind of thing is here

You can edit the theme to make it look the way you like.

Try this for Rainlender. It has an option for Linux too. Though i havent used it on Linux.
