low speed in bitcomet.....:(

    i am using bitcomet......

    and when i download something i ma getting low speeds while i get much higher speed in p2p softwares like limewire.....

    and even if the torrent has many seeds and leechers i get low speeds.....

    but at the same time for some torrents i get good speed......

    wat shud i do ??? :(

    Switch to uTorrent... if u feel the client isnt good... otherways as with torrents.. i have learned that its all depends on how u configure ur client and with the number of Seeders and their uploading speed ....

    use azureus or utorrent ... bitcomet gav me slow speeds too...

    its something related to port forwarding
    bitcomet gives slow speeds if ur ports are forwarded
    it has something to do wid certain ports being blocked by the isp
    so some of the data never reaches the host computer
    u can open the ports with a little tinkering though the easier way out would be to just use some other torrent software.

    i found that many torrents dont support bitcommet, so better u use any other client- go for utorrent.

    & frnds, y some torrents do not support bitcommet??

    i dont think its ccoz of the ports coz i hav randomly chosen numerous ports but only to get the same result
