hello guys
I am facing a problem with my system ie low fps in gtx 970.let me describe it below
System Specifications
1 500w tagan power supply
2 asus a88xm-a motherboard
3 amd a6 6600k
4 8 gb corsair venegance ram
5 asus strix gtx 970

I have windows 8.1 installed 64 bit.
Things i have tried
1 unistalled and reinstalled latest nvidia driver by using display driver uninstaller also
2 performed full system scan using kaspersky and malwarebytes
3 updated windows

the fps i am getting is in far cry 4 at ultra settings min 33 max 50 avg fps is 42
in thief by running benchmark i am getting 35 avg at very high and 37 avg at high
in assasins creed min fps drops to 22-23 even at low settings and max fps is 37 avg is 29 to 30
in titanfall i am getting 30 fps at high settings

by seeing various benchmarks i saw that far cry gives 57 to 60 avg fps
assasins creed gives 55 avg fps
thief gives 75 avg fps
titanfall gives 115 avg fps

what could be the problem ?

i have also noticed that the cpu fan goes crazy when i am playing games
iam using stock amd cooler
i have cleaned the system and also reapplied new thermal paste (i was facing this problem even before reapplying thermal paste)

in asus gpu tweak temp remains max at 65 for gpu
and gpu utilization is good

Your CPU is the problem. Did you actually buy this config or just upgraded GPU and RAM?

your amd a6 is at fault and iam planning to buy the same card based on the reviews online iam gonna go with zotac extreme amp or zotac extreme amp core edition

apu card has a cpu + inbuilt gpu in it, its also possible that your system is using the inbuilt card amd gpu for some reason, however thats unlikely
