I am looking for a software that can tweak certain settings from security perspective on Windows 8 or 10. Long back on Windows XP I found a software called Customizer XP that could tweak certain settings but I am not sure if it would work well on Windows 8 & 10 as there’s a huge difference between XP & Windows 8/10 and it was designed for XP only
I wish to lock access to Registry Editor, lock access to USB Mass Storage Device & hide certain drives from Windows Explorer on my PC. My PC is likely to be additionally used by guests (relatives’ kid) in my absence and I just want to restrict a few things as mentioned above.
I am aware of certain registry settings but rather than manually fiddling with the registry, I would prefer an app that can keep a track of changes for ease of use.
