On the side note this will give tough competion to Xperia L

Cons: No flash in the camera

Pricing will surely be lesser than Xperia L~Let's say around 14-15k, F7 will most probably be a successor to L9

Other than that F5 has a better battery and screen than L

^ Are you sure the price will be 20k? Cause it misses out on a good camera(with flash) looks more like a 15k phone, F7 might replace L9 with a heavy price tag(it has 2 gb ram) so if its under 25k, SP is in trouble :D

my bad. i meant F7. the LG lineup is becoming confusing day by day.

F5 should replace L9 by price but the real replacement will be F7. BTW F5 is powered by Qualcomm MSM8960 "Lite". this is insane. light, non-light, pro. Qualcomm's SOC lineup is becoming a real pain to differentiate. they are binning every working chip they can manufacture. this shows the demand they have for their processor.

You mean F5 processor is better than Xperia L?

If yes, then LG F series can kill xperia L and F7 can surely kill Xperia SP

Allllright !

Impossible.. Adreno 320 on SXP >>> Adreno 225 on F7..

Proof:
Adreno 320 vs Adreno 225

"Compared to the Adreno 225, the 320 is almost twice as fast."-Anandtech

However multitasking on F7 will be better 'coz it has an extra 1GB of RAM..
Real world performance (camera, gaming etc) SXSP> F7 IMO..

Yes LG F5 uses MSM8960 lite with Adreno 225. So it has a worse GPU than L. Not by much but 305 is slightly faster than 225 in GLbenchmark. Check LG MS770 vs Sony C2105 in GLBenchmark site. MS770 has same 1.2ghz chip with Adreno 225.

And overall performance is probably same or lower than Xperia L.

Typo randomuser111.. :)..

No both use same. F7 has it at 1.5ghz clock, F5 @ 1.2ghz

F7 is on par or a lil behind Htc One X+, Galaxy S3 and One X. So it's not gonna outperform SP quite obviously.

The extra 1GB RAM is an advantage for power users though.

:-? But Wikipedia says F5 has MSM8930 (aka Snapdragon S4 Plus) with 1.2 GHz Dual-core Krait, Adreno 305, Single-channel 533 MHz LPDDR2 RAM.
