Laptop for 50-55K

Hi friends.. I am planning to buy a laptop for 50-55K.. i5 processor, 500 GB hard drive, 4/6 GB RAM, 1GB graphics card..

Please suggest if i can go for Dell Xps 15 or Sony VAIO C series VPCCA15FG/P

I will b using this for moderate gaming and mostly for internet surfing and blogging.. Better battery life is a priority..

Other laptop model suggestions on par with the above mentioned price range and config is also welcome.. Thanks..

I think the battery usage depends entirely on you . If you use it properly all will last and if you wont none of them will last .

Go for XPS 15 (the customized one with nVidia GT 540, suggested by thetechfreak). It will serve you better while gaming as it has better GPU.

Your friend must be comparing Vaios with the Inspirons (Dell).
Dell XPS series is pretty powerfull and reliable
