Lan file sharing application?

I have connected both my PC's with a crossover cable, i can ping both ways, play lan games.
Now is there a no hassle, zero config app to share files and folders between the two PC's?

I want to avoid enablling file sharing, since I am on another network (for my internet) which I don't trust. Not sure If it is possible to enable sharing for only one network? If it is plz tell me how to go abt it.

offtopic : do u have two lan cards on one mobo ??? just asked out of curiosity, since u have networked with the other PC and connected to net at same time
