LAN Disappeared !!!

hey guyz i am using an Intel Original D915GAV board and as i had no use for the onboard LAN , i had disabled in from the BIOS. now as i am getting a dataone connection . i need the onboard LAN but when i check my BIOS the option has disappeared. Is it coz of me updating my BIOS while the LAN option was disabled ? My bios is updated to the latest and i have cross-checked the BIOS with a friend , his bios has the LAN option but mine is nowhere in sight. i very well remember disabling it. where the hell is it now ???

Well thats really strange cause afaik BIOS updates fix compatibility,include new features etc
Maybe you should check somewhere under Oboard Devices Configuration again.
