Hi, I want to establish a lan connection between two laptops running on Windows XP professional with SP2 installed and Norton 2006 on one and Norton 2005 on another. Specifying so much details so that you can clearly explain me the firewall part too. Thanks.

It depends on your requirement. If you want complete mobility, don't want to be stuck in a place while exchanging data between two system the obvious choice would be Wireless LAN but if you don't have such requirements then wired connection is more reliable.

Can any one also tell me how to make a WiFi internet connection between 2 laptops running Windows XP Professional SP2. One has a internet and I want to internet on other one too via WiFi. Is it possible and if yes how.
