Kaspersky Renewal Issue

hi,
i Bought 3 user licence for Kaspersky Internet Security for 1800 last yr from the official site. After this purchase a friend of mine purchased the same from a local shop for 550.

Now i want to renew this. Can someone tell me if i purchase this from a local shop will i be able to renew this or I will need to reinstall the antivirus or there is no way to remove the old licence except formatting.

Have anyone purchased 5 user licence from local shop is that available.

PS.: I live in Kolkata but presently am in Bangalore. So if someone can tell me where to get this from Bangalore, it will be great help/

I don't know how the local shops give at such a chip rate, but the l=keys sure work. It comes in sealed packets.

@OP, just un-install ur present KIS setup and install the newly bought. Provide key and it would accept without any hassle.

This is how I did. Renew may work, but in that case u will be using a old version.

If original KIS keys are accepted in all versions, d/l KIS2010 and enter new key. Ur copy will be registered.

I bought from eBay and rediff shopping. Try them.
