hai friends,
I want suggestions regarding Joomla CMS platform. what i need is to make data base of my office employes, having all the details of my employee with photo, and this database is to be published in my joomla website.

What is your requirement? Do you want to create a social networking kind of site? As you have said it yourself, Joomla is a CMS. Putting employee/friends profile is not what Joomla is suited for. Although there are many extensions/plugins available for Joomla, I do not think anyone will fit.

I am not sure if I understood your requirements clearly. But if you are looking for a e-portfolio management system, I remember using Mahara
