I have some compressed (Winzip & WinRAR) files. Contents of compressed files r exe. Some of the compressed files r infected with Jeefo Virus. Virus is not active in memory. I m using Norton 2005 with latest update. Norton detects virus in compressed files but unable to repair them. Is there any other solution? I want repaired files but they shudn't got corrupted. Is there any solution?

Since norton is unable to repair them, try Nod32 or Avast. They are much better and less resource hungry.

Since your PC is not infected with jeefo, Pl back up the system registry and take a backup of important files (especially exe files)

If the zip file do gets corrupted after removal of virus, you may want to try Advanced zip repair.
