Please help me choosing the right graphics card. I want to upgrade my graphics card from GeForce 6200 256 MB AGP card to 7300LE 256 MB PCI-E. The following specifications are for the card Nvidia GeForce 7300LE 256 MB PCI-E Graphic Card.

Will this card run all of the latest games atleast under the minimum settings.

160 GB Hard Disk
1024 MB DDR RAM

(This board has both AGP slot and a PCIe slot -SEE IMAGE BELOW)
Onboard Realtek 7.1 Channel sound.
Nvidia Geforce XFX 6200 256MB AGP card (Inserted in the AGP slot of Board)

Ya its not a gud move from a 6200 to a 7300LE. Get at least a 7300GT for around 5k.It has DDR3 mem. Its a lot better as its got 128 bit mem interface nd performs somewhat similar to a 7600GS. But 7600GS performs better in higher res nd when effects r turned on.
7300GS: 3.5k
7300GT: 5k
7600GS: 6.5k
7600GT :10~11k.

Normally a 7600GS will only be unnoticeably or barely noticeably better than a 6600GT. Both of these are low end according to me but a 7600GT is a 6800 ultra competitor and is thus a mainstream card.

It depends on the budget. If hes low on it get teh 7600GS nd if he has enough bucks, then get the 7600GT. nd if if has even higher consider 7900GT etc.

Thanks for this info arvind_n20. I first thought the card that i specified would suit me but now i have changed my mind after seeing these replies and from you. My budget is below 7K so i will have to choose wisely. Anyway thanks for the help.

If thats the case go for the 7600GS. Its the best card available for the price. Its better than a 6600GT in perfomance nd also future proof too.
7600GS has the core/mem clocks at 400/800 nd it has the same chip of that of the 7600GT-same no. of pixel as well as vertex pipelines. The only diff is the core nd mem clocks. GT has 560/1400 nd has GDDR3, but GS has DDR2.

Most probably the 7600GS would cost 7k, as its the brand named FORSA whose giving out 7600GS for 6.5k. All other gud brands like ASUS, XFX nd MSI r giving out at a min of 7k.
If u can stretch out around 1.5k more u can buy a 7600GT from a brand named Palit. The 7600GT is most likely a 6800Ultra in perfomance, nd requires much less power nd produce much less heat than the 6800.

The 7600GT is a bit slower than the 6800U only due to the limited 128 bit mem interface..i think, nd also maybe due to less no. if pixel/vertex pipes. But consider the power consumption, heat, card size nd price, its the 7600GT which wins.

I have planned to buy the 7300GT card. so can some one tell me where i could get the 7300GT card for 5K or less.I can find the rates only around 6K..Please dont give ebay link....
