Is the config good for the price?

Im going for a new system for around 50k..nd my current config nd there prices from my vender is as follows:
AMD 3500+ @ 5900/-
A8NE @ 5600/-
2x512@ 5000/-
250GB Sata@ 4000/-
Zebronics Antibiotic cab @ 2200/-
17" flat VS @ 6200/-
altec lan 502i headphones @ ~900/-

As bout Gcard Im confused. My vendor has XFX 7600GS for 7.5k and XFX 7600GT for 13k.
Adding 13k would bring up the price nd would be no bucks left for a good speakers. Is there any other good card b/w that which is Vista ready?

Also bout speakers Ive some choices, but dun know which is better:
Creative T7700 7.1 (dun know the price)
Logitech X530 5.1 (5500/-)
Is there any good speakers in its category???

Also what is the price of AMD 3700+
(really loved X2 3800+ but shocked with its price of 13k).

my suggestion get amd x2 3800 for 8.5k,160gb sata2 3k,speakers altec lansing atp3 for 2.6k,moniter samsung 798 17'' flat 6.3k

Ok ill check x2 3800+ prices from other shops also. Or should i wait for 1 month for a stable price as i think now the prices is fluctualing rapidly(my vendor says RAMS are on shortage nd even 512 hynix costs 2600/-)

Hi, Ive finally decided this config nd may be final(but one or two changes can be made before monday).

It is really worth buying....
Try to get 1GBX2 memory...just a suggestion...descide as per u r needs...

Also which memory r u getting for 5k......
Coz normal cheap memory r available for 35k-4k....
Corsair Value Select costs 5k,....which is much better....

Here in most shops in kerela, right now are saying they is extreme shortage of RAMS nd prices r about to raise to even higher rates like 3k for 512 hynix!!!!Now its around 2.5 k for hynix nd 3k for kingston value series.

Im to confused whether I should buy ram now or not as I could do it with my 2x256ddr400 of my older system which Im not selling. Better buy mem in ! month or so. Once (1 month ago) the mem price was very low like 2k or less for 512.

Any idea about dat speaker??T6060..Its a new model so dun know much bout it. It has surely high power rating than previous (72 compared to 40 somethin).
Have anyone used it???
Or Logitech X530 is better??.But Im not happy with x530s bass.Its sure powerful, but lacks punchy feel. But satellites are superb.

Like Gxsaurav said, it will be better to go for AM2 because it will be more future proof since it is said to support even the next generation of AMD processors. And 939 pins are likely to be extinct soon.

Paying that price for Hynix memory is not worth it!!! 3k...!!!
OCZ 512MB costs 3k....lol........
If u can still get memory then its fine!!But if u cannot then use u r old memory for a few months and then get some new memory...

I usually buy from Trivandrum. It was two weeks back that I bought 2x1GB Corsair Value Select. It was priced Rs.9500/- but the dealer bought back my 2x512 Transcend and I paid only Rs.5000/-. (The MRP of Value select on the sticker is Rs.8000/- per module) At that time he had big bundles of blister packed Corsair, Transcend, Simmtronics etc.
But I also feel the prices were much lower sometime back.
BTW my brother told me that there is acute shortage of processors.

Yeah..there is not even 3200+ in most stores...I finally found a dealer saying he has 4200+ last piece for 11500/-.
Can u give some names of stores in TVM. Ive cousins there, so will try to get mem from there.

The only shop I know of is Logitech which is proboably the biggest and oldest one at TVM and it is between Museum and Nandavanam Police camp.
