Hi guyz,
Since last couple of months, I've noticed that the broadband speed has been drastically strucked down, I've noticed this trend right after the recent undersea cable snap. I am living in northern Delhi, not me but my other frnz are also having the same complaint. Currently I am using Airtel BB, with Home 649 Unlimited plan w/ 256 Kbps speed, and now the scene is that, it is virtually impossible for me to download even a single song from rapidshare as it downloads at 3.4 Kbps MAX(reminiscent of Dial Up era).
Same is the problem w/ my other frnz who are using MTNL BB.
Not only this,while downloading any torrent, using uTorrent,the max download speed caps at 30Kbps, max.(which previously I used to get more than 100 Kbps).
I haven't made any changes, but still facing this issue, even after the undersea cable problem been restored!
I just wanna know if is a widespead phenomena or specific to our region, and also looking for some tweaks which may help me to squeeze out some more speed from my beetel 11BX1 ADSL 2 modem?
