Is my Monitor dying

For the past few days, almost everyday the picture on my monitor becomes like this for 2 seconds:

after this the monitor becomes normal again .

its a 6.5 year old LG CRT monitor. is it dying ?

Same problem i faced with my monitor, and there is no way to repair this, when i checked it with a technical he told me that the display of the monitor has gone and i should change the monitor.

thanks for replying. my monitor today went like this for half an hour. It seems its slowly dying...

yeah one day it will nt come to its normal state..
generally after the picture tube heats up den the screen becomes normal.. as tube weakens it starts takin more time to heat up..
