Dear friends,
Planning to buy a new monitor. Please suggest.
1. What is the purpose of the monitor?
Ans: Graphic design
2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: Rs. 12,500. Can extend a bit for a better value for money. Can go down as well.
3. Why do you want a new monitor?
Ans: I am presently using Dell U2211H. I am extremely happy with that. But I had to change the inverter, after which the printer-color-calibration lost accuracy. Regular gamers and users wouldn't notice, but as a graphic designer, its irritating. So, I am planning to sell this one, and buy a new one.
4. Please mention which screen size and resolution do you want.
Ans: Minimum 21.5". 1920x1080 would be good enough. It wouldn't hurt if I can get a 23" within budget.
5. When are you planning to buy the monitor?
Ans: As soon as I get a potential buyer for my U2211H.
6. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Bangalore. Open to buy online.
7. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: IPS must. Computer config in my sig.
