ipod and creative zen photo not recognized in Me and XP

Hi

As my old PC has got its USB ports broken so I installed additional USB port card (Adcom) to motherboard...It is recognizing Memory card reader as USB, pen drives but not players like ipod and Creative Zen Microphoto despite their drivers are installed in Win XP as well as Win ME.ipod only shows a charging battery symbol but not as a HDD in My Comp

In my frnd's PC ipod is being recognized as HDD....though.....

Can anybody help me

Have u installed the drivers of the USB controller card?Re-install the drivers and then try again.What USB is it 1.1 /2.0?

Ya i have installed USB drivers thats y it is recognizing memory card reader..and its USB 2.0 ..but its not recognizing ipod and creative micro zen photo
