Reset the modem using the reset button. It will most probably require the use of a pin.

Please mention, modem - model and make

What do you mean by " changed IP address ". Presume you changed the log in password for modem control panel.

To do ,

1. Type 192.168.1.1 in your browser.

2. Enter ID and password as admin

Check whether you can log in to modem. If not, there will be a reset button at the bottom side of your modem. It will look like a hole which is slightly different from vent holes. Use a ball point pen refill and press hold the switch for say 30 seconds when modem is ON.

Please note, this will reset the modem to factory settings and you need to configure modem again to connect to net.

In future, do care to write down the new password.

Will try to find a modem configuration tutorial once you post your modem's model and make.
