which is the best software to hide the IP.....i don't mind if its a paid software but i want the best n effective one...

actually ..... the main reason for which i want to hide the IP address is due to the game Ragnarok...i put it on bots n if u get caught for it ...u get banned

And Mods, Plz guide me whether hiding the IP is illegal ?? And if u feel its illegal...u can close the thread...

no its not illegal at all, but what u r using it for mite get u into trouble.

it depends upon your choice either you can use some cgi based services there u just need to provide URL u wan't to surf or you can find a proxy and port and configure your whole PC to use proxy or single application

ok tat was for, while ur surfing on net, how to do tat for game(proxy while playing game)... one more thing i did try proxy server but i cannot visit site like yahoomail, gmail,and many other sites..... except proxy worked for thinkdigit.com/forum

^^^ no idea about setting of perticular game and windows OS but in SUSE you can enable proxy like this :-

YaST >>Network Services >>Proxy >>Fill in the columns >>Surf using proxy
