Internet Explorer..list of websites..

In the adress bar of IE..it usually shows the adress of the websites opened so far..but I am facing a problem (not literally)..when I shutdown the PC the address are gone..how to make any setting so that it remains there after shutdown of the machine..

Same case with the RUN command ..also..
suggest me the settings for this..
