Installing software from Digit DVD in ubuntu

Hello geniuses.....I am a ubuntu 11.10 user. I know its really easy to download software from ubuntu repositories but i want to make use of the Digit dvd's plenty of softwares on my laptop without using internet. I tried adding the cd-rom in software sources but it doesn't accept......Please help:|

Most of linux softwares need dependencies.
I would suggest digit to provide linux software with dependencies if the dependency was not a part of the common core.

Anyhow, you need the internet connection to install most of the Linux softwares. Please try to follow this link for how to install without internet connection.

That means digit's dvd bundled softwares are of no use in ubuntu???? That's pathetic....for what purpose do they provide for??
