I need to buy an android smartphone under ~18k urgently

i am looking at htc one v, xolo x900, xperia P or U
But i would look at all phones you suggest

if are willing to sacrifice battery life then Xperia P would be gr8. if you prefer an all rounder with battery, processing power, display then Galaxy S Advance is gud.
Xperia P is perfect for its price except for the battery life, it may hardly last for one day if this test is to believed.

on the bright side it charges much faster than others. so if you can carry a spare battery & a charger then it could be fine.

Yeah Xperia p is great phone if u don't have problem with the battery...great audio quality great cam quality...n excellent display for videos and games..indeed battery is poor, it charges fast though..another phone is XOLO.it's powerful..beaten even high end phones in benches..but compatibility issues of apps i have heard...also look at nexus, Atrix 2,razr xt910...

Dont go for Desier X.. the specs are pathetic for the price. go for Xperia P.

Desire x has least capable gpu among all above mentioned.. Also it doesn't even support 720p hd recording forget about fullHD... Also less ram (768mb compared to 1gb)

quite amazed with Sony's style of designing phones, while the dual core 4 inch Xperia P has 1304 mAh battery, 3.5 inch 800 Mhz Cortex A5 powered Xperia Miro has 1500 mAH battery. Just when we thought Sony has released perfect mid-range Xperia U, upper-mid range Xperia P, they have shot their own foot by ruining both phones. Except for one single downside, there is no competition for both these phones.

select between Atrix 2 & Xperia P. XOLO X900 is a viable option but this one may get less DEV love as it is released in only certain market.
