i got two problems with my system

Is ur drive in perfect workin condition? No bad sectors?
Inspect the diskette for damage. Reinsert it and try again. Check the cable on the disk drive and the computer. Make sure it's snug. Remove the cable connectors from the disk drive and the computer, then reinsert them. Replace the cable connecting them with a new or known good cable.
Also check out the motherboard, ram etc...

Try it out @ a friends' place, first with urs as primary drive (if not working, drive corrupted or OS corrupted) & then as secondary (still not working/files not able to b backed up then, drive corrupted)

their are no bad sectors in my hard disk

Go To Msconfig By Start Run Msconfig Startup Close The Security Center Service The Baloon Will Not Pop Up Again Or You Can Enable The Thing Which It Is Recommending

Doble click on ballon..in left pane goto -change the way securuty center alerts me uncheck autometic updates & virus protection.

& for ur first problem tell me do u have two hard disks ???

no i got only 1 hard disk

i have two HDs.after intalling them i got the same kind of msg.
U can ge to bios.then go Boot>Hard disks .then select ur 1st hard disk that one in which the OS is installed.

i have only 1 hard disk
but i got 1 cd rom and 1 cd writer
is their any otherway to overcome this problem without using bootsafe or booster
