How to Update Drivers ???

What are drivers ? How do I update them ? My dad has Acer Laptop with original WindowsXP. I have Desktpo PC with p'rtd WindowsXp ? I knows how to takes Windows and other upodates, but not Drivers updates. So you ples help me.

Right click on My Computer > Manage > Device Manager > |Choose the device you need to update the drivers of| > Right click the device > Properties > Driver tab > Update driver

OKAY, but this looks like work. I wish there was someting like aotomatic updates of windows.

instrad of updating manually let windows search the net. that will make your work easier. most products[ie supported by windows] dont even require drivers.

alternatively you can install vista beta [get ur hands on it first obiously] it has much better driver support.
