How to set up DLink-DSL Modem for Open Suse 10.3

Hey guys, got a DSL modem for my BSNL Broadband connection. i'm plannin on installing open suse 10.3. Currently running Windows. Every time I connect to the net, I've got to actually dial up the modem although it is connected via LAN. Now once I install Suse, how do I get the modem set up?

Any help would be useful.
