:?: hiii guys...
i want to upgrade my GPU to a newer one but cant seem to find out which on would work the best for me. I have Intel's DG41RQ motherboard and 1GB Nvidia Geforce 9500GT (i know it ain't that great but i had a limited budget)... Now i really want to play "Bulletstorm" and i was checking the system requirements and my graphics card didn't quite meet the expectation,...

so i was hoping any one of u could give me a list of some graphics cards that would work with my mobo..

or can tell me how to find the compatibility between mobo's and GPU's..

Answer these-

1. Which processor and how much ram u have?
2. Which power supply and case u have?
3. Any other game which u will play?
4. Max u can spend?

All the current generation motherboards, including yours, have PCI Express X16 slot for adding a GPU. So any Graphics card compatible with it will be added to your motherboard. Even your existing one is also PCI Express X16 based.

Answer the questions 1st and also mention your budget.

As you have a PCI Express or PCIe slot, every graphic card will run in your motherboard only limited by the performance of your power supply.

And your power supply, iBall is bad. Upgrading it is also recommended if you want to upgrade your graphic card.

@justme101

upto 6k , will give you a raadeon 5670 @ 4.8k. If you can extend a bit more, a gts 450 @ 6.5k or a radeon 5750 at the same price will be very good.

But your current psu should be upgraded first at all costs.

since you want to play crysis and crysis 2 and other good good games just save up more till you have atleast 10k (since you need a psu too). if you want to enjoy them. price drop with launch of new card GTS 550 is soon expected on other mid rangers.

you have very good processor and ram is in good amount.

vicky yaar tu itni bhi choices na dena shuru kar de :-D. 450 is better na.
