How to reduce file size od gif image keeping animation intact?

The title says it. I tried using Irfanview but seems that it doesn't support it. Also my current avatar (fire) is not showing the animation. Why?? Is it because the file size is 52k and tdf limit is 35k?

^Max size limit is 32KB and resolution 120X120 only

if u don't want to loose animation then u have to reduce the quality

there are online image optimizers giving good results

I removed some frames from my Avatar to fit to the standard size in TDF

long time back i used Ulead Gif Animator to remove frames and to resize the images in the frames

what i would suggest it extract all frames and compress them using Caesium and then creat gif image to retain complete animation in smaller size

Ok I'll give it a shot.

GIF Animator is a good one. If you want to reduce the size drastically do any/all of these:

1. Grayscale all the images in the GIF sequence.
2. Reduce the image dimension.
3. Choose animations that has less gradients and shades.
