Is there any way to recover the messages that have been immediately deleted from the Blackberry Bold 9780?
Here's what happened:
~Opening the text message inbox shows a "conversation" type of layout [like all other smartphones]
~On selecting a persons name in the inbox and hitting delete key you get the option- "Do you wish to delete all the messages by this user?" (or something similar)
~Selecting "yes" deletes all the messages (ever) sent by that one person.
And that is exactly what happened.
2 points I would make here is:
A) The phone is not mine
B) I did not delete the messages
As far as I know it is next to impossible to extract deleted information from the phones internal/external (mSD) memory.
Despite that I am posting this as:
~That person whose messages were deleted is "me"
~No more points.
NOTE: No backup of the data was made. The last one was an year ago and the contents of that backup are in no way going to pacify the pained soul.
