How to format XP

Plese let me know in details.....how to format Windows XP Home ....single boot with NTFS file system.

Just boot from the XP installation CD,there you'll get the option to format the partitions.

If u dont have a bootable XP CD, boot from floppy and then go to i386 folder on the CD and run setup.exe

u dont even need 2 boot from the xp cd

wen u start windows, put in the xp cd. then click on setup. then in the options there will be a choice of UPGRADE - that is, install xp without formatting

or a new install...that will format ur hdd and install it

so choose the new install and it will reformat ur pc and install xp
