Guys, recently I had got my faulty 56K modem replaced by a new one. But now the connection speed has dropped to 22Kbps. There is nothing mentioned on the modem or driver about its speed and It has the same driver as the old one. Is there any way to find the speed of modem??

the speed of ur connection does not depends on the modem. Modem acts as a demodulator and modulator of the signals which it receives. Contact your service provide for the speed related issues. or if the modem is faulty then check it by replacing with another which u can find with your friends.

@Gigacore
Ive checked it but there is nothing pointing about the speed of modem.

Only a few weeks ago(when my old modem was working) the speed of connection was 52 Kbps and now it is even less than half of that. I don't think it is a connection problem.
