and you can download a software named... PDF Converter. It is under GPL.

It installs a printer driver and you can directly print your word excel documents to pdf files...


Still with MS Office?

If you are using OpenOffice you can directly convert word documents to pdf files..

Open adobe reader. Find option 'preferences' by right click on any empty aria or from menu.
Check the box 'web browser integration'.
Now try what were doing.
