In many times when i try to burn CD as a VCD using nero with .MPG/MPEG extension files which working easily in media player at the time of adding nero display a warning that file could not be a video standard and will be encoded before burning. BUt as a name of encoding nero reduce the size and quality of that movie(like small real file in hindi films) even my original file was full screen movie. My question is how to bypass encoding or any other writing/ burning software which burn CD as a VCD without encoding .
thanks

When you make vcd, that is meant to be seen on a player and not on a computer. That is the reason you are geting a small window, rather than full screen, after making the vcd. As far as I know you cannot by pass this.

nero asks u to encode because the video u wanna burn is not in the vcd format!!!!
in order to make a vcd playable on standalone vcd players, your videos should be of resolution 352x288,
1150 kbits/sec video bitrate
224 kbits/sec audio bitrate.
if ur video does not match these specs, nero will encode it.
but if u do not wanna watch them on vcd players,u can burn using the data cd option. this way, they wont be encoded and the size and quality will b preserved.

Well, when u burn VCDs, Nero(7) generally asks (in the last step) whether u want NTSC or PAL format (thats the format for viewing on television) So there shouldnt be any problem
