Get nLite, d00d!! It can integrate Service Packs as well as perform some other useful tasks.

And search first before posting. Chances are somebody has already posted the question and its answer.

dear adiit007,
unfortunately i've not read Digit after Oct 2004 issue. and i
really don't know anything about the competition ! i don't care
who will take the prize or, whatever else. i'm just curious !

actually, earlier i've made my WinXP pro [not bootable] into
a fully bootable WinXP SP1 bootable CD with the help of WinXP SP1
available in some earlier issue of Digit. and as i have SP2 file,
so i thought there must be some way to make this possible.
that is why i wanted to if u guys have any ideas ! don't be so
mean friend

dear enoonmai,
u r right. i should check from now on before any of my posts!

dear Kl@w-24,
i'm quite aware about slipstreaming & prepration of un-attented
installation CDs of WinXP. But, my friend, have u ever test it
for yourself? the process of integration of SP2 files into WinXP SP1
CD files are very very poor & it crashes at the very first trial !

hope u guys will come up with some cool ideas after that damn
contest is over! atleast some people are here for prizes & handshakes!
not for pure & deep knowledge which will help others!!!

Yup, I've created an SP2 integrated CD using nLite and it works perfectly fine. Check this out if u wud rather prefer to do it manually :

Wire muncher!
it works manually perfectly...i've done it...only thing is i had longhorn transform pack....so uninstalling and upgrading all messed up...i ended up formating and reloading everything.......

did a clean install from slipstreamed sp2 cd....works great now...

for nlite you need to haf dotnet runtime files installed
