thats right...coreplayer will play almost any video you throw at it...but its not freeware...of course you can always get it from one of those warez sites...

I think the thread starter anonymusneo is asking for an software for recording videos in the Avi format

and not with the inbuilt video recorder which produces Mp4 files.

Video Recorder, not Video Player.
