i will be applying Arctic Cooling MX2 on my Q6600.
Arctic Cooling's guide says i have to apply to the middle of the CPU(in a round shape) and DO NOT spread it.
then install the cooler and AFTER installation rotate the whole cooler.
im using the stock cooler and fan.
as far as i know the heat sink comes in contact with the CPU ONLY AFTER fixing it onto to the MB..that is after locking the pins...then how the hell am i suppose the rotate the cooler?

and in ARTIC SILVER's guide say i have to apply the paste as a thin line from left to right.

now which way is better?

tq

Use thin line method, don't use dot for quadcores.

And u only need to rotate 2 or 3 degrees,if u cant, leave that step.
