hmm, Intel chipsets are still a lot better then even the nforce 4 ultra,

in Workstation usage Intel Xeons & Pentium Extremem edition still rock & defeat AMD by fair margin, try rendering & U will see the difference

AMD is beating Intel only in 2 things

1) Gaming - Due to more available registers

2) Cool & Quite - Although Intel is also on the same path, with Pentium M & pentium D

still in india intel rulez....and if someone suggest a amd system he says....
intel is the best....coz he know only about intel.even dealers pernounce
amd semp"tron".
people buy intel coz they only see advertisements of intel inside.
i have never seen a single add on tv about amd.poor marketing by amd.
but still amd will rule and intel will suffer......

A note to the original poster - This page (Round1) is almost 5 years old. I continued reading page after page till Round 4. The author ends his comparison in 2003 saying the P4 2.4 Ghz is waaaaay better than AMD Athlon and how AMD has lost the lead by falling asleep at the wheel.

Man, you should really read before posting links to 5 year old articles. You just gave "Living in the past" a whole new meaning. Or is it "Dead as a dodo".

Anyways, I reckon if the author continued his diatribe to the present day he would end with a "AMD catches up again" theme.
