How do you remove a topic from a forum?

    This is a bit silly but somehow i am unable to figure out how to remove a topic from the forum after it has served the purpose.

    one can remove if the last post made there is by him! if some one else replies after your post then u can't remove dat then as nikhil said

    Atleast in the Q&A section once the best or optimum solution to a problem is posted and the topic originator is satisfied, there should be some method to highlight the same...

    Deleting the post is not desirable as sometimes it will be helpful for others to go through the replies received earlier. This may result in asking the same question again.

    Locking the topic is also not desirable because some other participant might have another doubt related to ongoing discussion.
