i know this question may sound stupid but this is the first time i am assembling a pc on my own before i had a compac
i have decided on the processor i will either be going for a 3800 with a venice core or for a 3700 with san digeo core now my quetion is how u identify what core it is when u are buying i have not seen amd procc box
also their naming thing is pretty confusing
like suppose i want to go for a amd 64 bit 3800 with a venice core how do u make it out on the box and on the chip is it writen on the box that this has a venice core is it mentiond on the chip like say a marking or something i dont want to be fooled into buying the new castle or wenchister core becuase i am going for 4g b ram
also one of the dealers in mumbai who is trying to sell me a 3700 with asan diego core told me that 3800 with venice core is not come to india is this true and is there a san digeo core in 3800 please help
