How can I block a website from being viewed or opened on my computer?

How can I block a website from beingaccessed from my computer.I use both IE6 and Opera for browsing.Please help me.I prefer not to use external applications for that.If there is no other way only I will opt for that.

For IE:
open IE-->>tools-->>Internet options-->>security-->>restricted sites

Add the site which you want to block.Also there are many parental control software for this.

dere are two ways
one with browser and other with ur firewall(if u ve 3rd party firewall)

Yep, exceptions are always there ;) Those are determined to do will always find a way....and thats one reason...why you have enter Serial and validation in programs even though....creators know it will get cracked in a day after release or take Porn filters which took billions in creation and cracked by 16yr old in 30 mins :grin:

already given,

Try this,

FireFox would us the host file too :) so if u block with Host file any browser should follow that !!
